If you plan to stay in Boston, or other parts, be sure to give yourself extra travel time. Given the ease of public transportation we strongly encourage its use.
Keep in mind the following comments:
· Book your flight for departing the conference well before the conference (especially if you plan on staying over the weekend).
· Be sure to book your hotel early to get the hotel you want for that weekend.
· Similarly, take this into consideration when making dining or entertainment reservations that weekend.
TRANSPORTATION
Mass Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) (Otherwise known as the “T”)

IMPORTANT: If in town for 1 day or more: Buy 1 ($9) or 7-Day ($15) "Day LinkPass" is ideal for Boston visitors; it's valid for unlimited use during your stay for Subway, Local Bus, Commuter Rail Zone 1A and Inner Harbor Ferry travel. Otherwise you will be paying $2.00 per trip - which can become very expensive. You WILL be using the train frequently. You can purchase your MTBA pass at Logan Airport in the baggage claim area.
